To save time at the beginning of the school year and the teachers/students are familiar with one another. -The LOWEST amount of revenue that was raised in 2000/2001 school year was for the state of North Dakota with $750 million.
--If the federal government is so concerned with the state of our school system (especially with the passage of the No Child Left Behind Act), why are they only willing to put forth 8.5% of the school revenue (as of 2003) and leaving the rest up to the state and local sources to come up with?

If the school meets the criteria of the AYP is that school off the list? -"In 2003, about 1 million students were home schooled" In think that children should go to school because this lets them experience being and learning with other students. -I thought it was interesting that schools do not allow teachers to wear religious dress to school.

They are nice- but I want to see chidren's work so that other children can see what good work looks like." Fact: In the last year for which the statistical analysis has been done (2000-2001) nearly $373 billion of revenue were raised.
Is the current org. of the school system in thge united states effective and flexible enough to stay on the curve that effects all students and?
Can the Current Education System evolve or change fast enough to help the next generation of students learn how to live and work in an enviroment that is dependent on technology?

Kierra, good job here! I like your quote in particular. Different teachers have different philosophies of education. Most still have self-contained classes, but I think we are seeing more collaboration with lesson plans and even co-teaching now. I am excited to see that move in education!
