    - In 1961, 23 percent of teachers held an advanced degree and 15 percent lacked a bachelor's degree.

    1.Teachers who are not excited about the subjects they teach cannot develop enthusiasm for the subject in their students.

    Fact: In 1961 23% of teachers held an advanced degree while 15% lacked a bachelor's degree, and in 2001 57% held an advanced degree and 0% had not completed a bachelors

    Question: Would it be a good idea to have almost every piece of paper concerning teaching in your portfolio to keep some sort of record on your progress, and be able to pick and choose your best works for the jobs that you will be applying for?

    -It is OK to have personal concerns. They are a very real part of any change process, including becoming a teacher.
