Q. "A professional is someone who can do his best when he doesn't feel like it."
ReplyDeleteF. The roots of teaching as an occupation go back to ancient Greece, where slaves called paidagogos, or pedagogues, taught children to read and write and helped them memorize passages of poetic history.
Q. How can we be sure that were teaching are kids the right things for life?

Fact: The number of nationwide organizations of interest to teachers is unbelievable. The only ones I am familiar with are NEA and MSTA.
