Q. Why do we have to have so much education?

Fact~The number of classroom teachers is expected to increase by almost 400,000 in the next decade, increasing from 3.6 million in 2007 to almost 4 million by 2015.

Question: If teachers are socially considered one of the MOST important positions and influencial people (in children's lives especially,) why aren't they respected and paid more??

Question: Which is better alternative licensure programs or traditional teaching programs? Why?
Fact: Most public school salary schedules are usually determined by two factors: years of teaching experience and amount of education, usually expressed in terms of college credit-hours or advanced degrees.

Question: How difficult is it to get hired with just a PE General degree, with the promise to finish certification within the two-year time frame?
